THE RIP CURL PRO BELL WILL BE RUNG TODAY!

Bells Beach, Australia is buzzing this morning as a large swell has begun to kick in and conditions are nothing short of excellent for what will be a tremendous finish to one of the Foster’s ASP Men’s World Tour’s most prestigious events – The Rip Curl Pro.

Kicking off at 7.30am sharp the event will launch straight into the much anticipated round four match-up between Taj Burrow (AUS) and Mark Occhilupo (AUS) and will continue right through to the completion of the event around 1pm (local time) this afternoon.

Already into the quarter finals are Luke Stedman (AUS) and Shaun Cansdell (AUS) in heat one; Bede Durbidge (AUS) and Kelly Slater (USA) in heat two and; Andy Irons (HAW) is in heat three to be joined the winner of the Burrow Occhilupo affair.

The remaining quarter final heat will be determined by the results of heats seven and eight in round four which include Mick Fanning (AUS) versus Greg Emslie (ZAF) and Mick Lowe (AUS) versus Joel Parkinson (AUS).
