ROUND TWO OF THE RIP CURL PRO IN THE WATER NOW AT BELLS BEACH, AUSTRALIA
News provided by ASP World Tour on 13 April 2006
Surfers competing in the Rip Curl Pro Surf and Music Festival have been sent out this morning back at the home break of the event – the famous Bells Beach Bowl.
The final two heats of round one of the 34-year-old event, which is the second on the Foster's ASP Men's World Tour, will be completed first up and that will immediately be followed by round two, which will consist of the first man-on-man sudden death heats.
The swell has increased slightly to a clean one to two metres (three to five feet) and with a light offshore wind fanning the high-performance wave that is Bells Beach, surfers have been provided with a classic stage on which they can show their wares.
