With a clean one to 1.2 metre (3 to 4 foot) swell arriving over night at Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, competitors in the Billabong Pro are set to return to the water for round three at 8am local time.
Since the event, the sixth on the Foster’s ASP Men's World Tour, has been on hold for nearly a week, surfers are raring to have a crack at the J-Bay walls.
With two days of competition remaining, organisers are hoping to complete round three today then finish the event tomorrow when the newly arrived swell is expected to peak.
