QUIKSILVER PRO FINAL DAY UNDERWAY

Awaking to near perfect two to three metre (six to eight foot plus) waves at Malibu Reef, organisers of the Quiksilver Pro Japan have hurriedly sent out heat one of round four and are looking to complete the event today.
Nine Australians, three Hawaiians, two mainland Americans, one South African and one Brazilian remain in round four of the seventh event on the Foster’s ASP Men’s World Tour and with the conditions being much less current-affected than yesterday expect to see some of the best surfing of the season.
Today’s round four heat draw are:
Heat 1: Mick Fanning (AUS) versus Travis Logie (ZAF)
Heat 2: Bruce Irons (HAW) versus Toby Martin (AUS)
Heat 3: Paulo Moura (BRA) versus Phil MacDonald (AUS)
Heat 4: Mark Occhilupo (AUS) versus Kelly Slater (USA)
Heat 5: Andy Irons (HAW) versus Taylor Knox (USA)
Heat 6: Sunny Garcia (HAW) versus Troy Brooks (AUS)
Heat 7: Trent Munro (AUS) versus Tom Whitaker (AUS)
Heat 8: Taj Burrow (AUS) versus Dean Morrison (AUS)
