Surf movies are back to
Australia. The Australian Surf Movie Festival is screening the best new films and the unforgettable classics. In 2011, the organization is exploring the country's best aboriginal surfers.
The moves from
Dale Richards,
Russ Molony,
Joe Haddon and
Otis Carey will be traveling to Western
Australia, Southern
Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania. All surf movies will present local surfers and were exclusively shot in
Australia.
The selection of the best waves, tricks and lifestyles promise to enlighten all spectators, alongside with great concerts from
Jeremy Donovan, OKA, Band of Frequencies, PICO, The Dave Flower Band, The
Tim McMillan Band, The Sniffer Dogs, FisherKings,
Laura Hill and
Juzzie Smith.
To be screened surf movies include "From Where You'd Rather Be. A Journey", by
Taylor Steele, "Who Is J.O.B.?", by
Jamie O'Brien, "Walkabout", by
Tim Bonython and "Hot Off the Press Pipeline", by
