HUGE ROUND 3 MATCH-UPS AT BOOST MOBILE PRO START AT 8AM

LOWER TRESTLES, California (Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007) – Round 3 of the Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley will hit the water this morning at 8am in offshore two-to-three-foot (1 metre) peaks at Lower Trestles.
Event No. 6 of 10 on the 2007 Foster’s ASP World Tour, the Boost Mobile Pro will look to complete all 16 heats of Round 3 today, whittling the current 32 man field down to 16.
“Today we’re greeted with similar conditions to yesterday, perhaps a touch bigger, but a fair bit more consistent,” Event Director Mike Parsons said. “We’ll be running Round 3 at 8am sharp and looking to complete all 16 heats of Round 3.”
Following suit with yesterday’s slew of dynamic match-ups, today’s Round 3 draw will produce some incredible clashes as well, including Mick Fanning (AUS) against Dane Reynolds (USA), Kelly Slater (USA) against Rob Machado (USA), and Andy Irons (HAW) against Jordy Smith (ZAF)
Before the Round 2 action begins, be sure to tune in for ‘The Dawn Patrol,’ a TV quality production being webcast LIVE on www.boostmobilepro.com at 7:30am local time.
Round 2 starts at 8am with all 16 heats being webcast LIVE at www.boostmobilepro.com.
