TROPICAL CRUISE: A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE - 24 Apr 2008
I've just came back from 2 terrific weeks on board of TROPICAL CRUISE. The boat is simply too old, too slow, too noisy, (generator produce a strong noise all the day). The boat can't sail more than 3 knots (no 9 knots as said on site). But the worse, we had to sleep with big black beatles. During the night my friends and me realized to have these beatles on our bed, walking on legs, face and neck and I can say it has been such terrific. They were everywhere, in the bathroom too, in the kitchen and the crew normally kick them. We have been said it was our problem and we could sleep outside in the deck: the night was cold cause the strong wind and often raining a lot. W e did not sleep for days. Bathroom are old, little, smelling and visited by beatles. No safety rules and stuff. It rains in the cabin and beds were completely wet and so our clothes. We never had a local surf guide as it was specified in the program and in the contract. We had to stopped 3 whole days in south Malè, waiting for the change of captain, stuck on board, and leavinf the perfect waves in Malè north. Fan in my cabin was broken and so the lights never worked. We were the last to move to go surfing, since the battery was always out of charge. We were the forst to come back, since the boat hat to be stopped at 5:00 pm (but it was not specifien on the site nor the contract), while all the othe surfers were surfing until the sunset. A very bad experience. Nobody answered to our complain, or better, they didi it, saying that everything was ok. :( Don't go TROPICAL CRUISE!!!!! NEVER.
