THE GREATEST SHOW ON SURF, THE RIP CURL PRO PIPELINE MASTERS WILL FINISH TODAY

Get online now because it’s all systems go for the final day of the Greatest Show On Surf, The Rip Curl Pro Pipeline Masters.
Organisers will push the starting button at 8am sharp as the waves are pumping in perfectly at around the two metre (six foot) mark.
There are only seven heats left in the event, the 11th and final on the Foster’s ASP Men’s World Tour and the third and final of the coveted Vans Triple Crown Of Surfing. Everything should be wrapped up by around 1pm local time.
Remaining in the draw today are 16 surfers including six Hawaiians, six Australians and four from the US mainland.

Jamie O’Brien (HAW), Mick Fanning (AUS), Damien Hobgood (USA), Lee Winkler (AUS)
Quarter-final 2.
Cory Lopez (USA), Trent Munro (AUS), Kelly Slater (USA), Kalani Chapman (HAW)
Quarter-final 3:
Andy Irons (HAW), Luke Egan (AUS); Nathan Hedge (AUS); Tim Curren (USA)
Quarter-final 4.
Mark Occhilupo (AUS), Pancho Sullivan (HAW); Bruce Irons (HAW); Sunny Garcia (HAW)
Of the surfers remaining four are still in contention for the Vans Triple Crown of surfing. These in clued Sullivan, Fanning, Andy Irons and Garcia. Jake Paterson, who was sitting in the number two slot on the Triple Crown ratings was eliminated yesterday.
