The Galway Surfers Club was founded in May 2006 by a group of surfing enthusiasts living in the Galway area. Recognising that there is no immediate surfing location in the immediate Galway area, the Club will organize and promote day trips, weekend trips and longer outings on a regular basis.
Lessons, coaching and mentoring in surfing techniques, surf prediction, identifying different wave conditions and safety awareness will be organised for members. The Galway Surfer Club is also the Irish Surfing Association official representative of in Galway City. |
