News provided by ASP World Tour on 6 January 2006

With the wind swinging around to the north-east creating a difficult side-shore effect on the one metre (three foot) swell at Narrabeen Beach Australia, the men will be challenged here today as the Billabong World Junior Championships will look to wrap up.

By around 3pm (local time) we should be crowning another ASP junior champion after whittling the remaining 16 surfers down to two for the final.

The past week has been a fantastic experience for the competitors and spectators alike as the juniors have raised the performance bar to new levels yet again.

With a strong Hawaiian contingent remaining in the event plus a smattering of surfers from around the globe, one and all can expect more phenomenal performances throughout the day.

Stay tuned to the live webcast on or throughout the day for the full heat draw plus all the live action.
